Chip Slicer Hierarchy

Chip Slicer Hierarchy is a hierarchical chip/pill slicer for Power BI. Drop up to three fields into a single well and the field order becomes the hierarchy: Category → SubCategory → Product. Click a chip to filter — child chips expand automatically. Click the expand icon (▸) to browse a level without filtering.

Free — The complete slicer — all three hierarchy levels, up to 2,000 values, single, multi and leaf-only selection, drill-down, auto-collapse, per-level colours, image chips, value badges, reset and 'All' buttons, cross-filtering, cross-highlighting, bookmarks, keyboard and high contrast.

Pro — Unlock via Microsoft AppSource subscription:

• Search box — filter chips across the whole hierarchy as you type, with the matching text marked inside each chip and the number of results shown
• Value heatmap — each chip tinted by its measure, scaled level by level so a child is compared with its siblings rather than with the top of the hierarchy
