Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers two distinct things, described separately below because they handle data very differently: the tcviz.com website (Section 2) and the Power BI custom visuals we publish ("the Visual", Section 3).

2. Data Collected by This Website

tcviz.com collects a limited amount of data, listed in full below — nothing beyond this:

• Contact form. If you submit the form on our Contact page, the name, email, company, expected number of users, topic and message you enter are sent to our inbox via Formspree, a third-party form-delivery service. See Formspree's Privacy Policy. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry.
• Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font requests it from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, as is standard for any web server.
• We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share this data with anyone beyond the service providers named above.

3. Data Collected by the Visuals

The Visual itself — running inside Power BI, separately from this website — does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No data is sent to external servers or third-party services.
• No telemetry, analytics or usage metrics are gathered.
• No cookies or persistent identifiers are used.
• No network requests are made by the Visual during normal operation.

4. Visual Data Processing

All data processing occurs within the Power BI runtime environment on your device or tenant. The Visual reads data provided through its field wells solely to render the visualization. This data never leaves the Power BI sandbox.

5. License Verification

To determine whether a user holds a Pro license, the Visual uses Microsoft's official IVisualLicenseManager API. TCViz does not receive or store personal data as part of this process. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement for details.

6. Third-Party Services

Beyond Formspree, Google Fonts and our hosting provider (all named above), neither this website nor the Visual integrates with any third-party analytics, advertising or data-processing services.

7. Your Rights

If you've contacted us through the website, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data you submitted at any time by emailing support@tcviz.com. As a Spain-based operation, we honor GDPR data subject rights for all visitors regardless of location.

8. Children's Privacy

This website and the Visual are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
